Radio Bit: Inversions, Freud, and Ellis

I created this piece for public radio a while back. The premise of it is to explain what "sexual inversions" are and who actually developed the term in the first place. Sigmund Freud has been credited with much, no doubt, but the initial discussion of "sexual inversions" would have to go to the British theorist Havelock Ellis and his wife Edith.

The audio file can be played here.
Happy listening!

Yeah. Freud's gotten away with way too many credits!
What can I say, other than, thanks for another fun and informative piece!

What's the next piece on?
I was wondering if you could tell me what I could read to inform myself about identity fluidity.... My understanding of it is really marginal so any suggestions you might have, will, I'm sure, help out. Thx.

"Das kontraere Geschlechtsgefuehl"... Ja. The German makes so much more sense than 'Sexual Inversions'!!
Thanks for this posting this. It's a topic that is not irrelevant. Far from it.
A little birdie told me that you've also gendered Starbucks. Any validity to that piece of hearsay? I hope so.
If so, might one hear it?
Dankeschoen!
