The last minute when she reads Pat's proposal to Nixon to create something akin to AA was priceless.
The thing is this is such a multilayered issue that it can't be reduced to a a is right but b is wrong. It's too complex a history and too difficult a cultural argument.
But I have to agree with the other person the last minute was quite a nice piece of TV.
The thing is though, it's easier to set the record straight if it's your show. Granted Buchanan ran the mouth when he kept saying 100% left and right. He was only expressing an opinion, however. I'm sure we all make mistakes on an hourly basis....
I mean, I get her point and I concur with much of what she's saying. It's just a problem of tone for me....
she loved doing this one. ;)
When one has one's own show and pretty wide platform, it's pretty easy to look and sound victorious.
I didn't like this bit, actually. She came across as a bit of a bully. Pat was a guest on her show. He expressed his opinion the way guests do.....
