Divorce and Money Matters

As per Gary Becker's 1977 study, people who experience a vast change in their income, be it positive or negative, are bound to divorce.

Does money matter really that much?

Well, according to Nobel Prize winners and the latest NYT article, it sure does. Here it is:

The message of Becker's story is, if you want to stay married, keep making the same amount of money you did during the nascent phase of marriage. Unless, one desires to get a divorce, of course.

I'm not sure I concur.

well, it's a kind of flow that seems to affect, perhaps not always equally, those involved in the union.
