Even though today was a very creative day in terms of good things to read, this sentence got my attention more readily than others.
The person making the statement is referring to something quotidian, menial even, but the truth he reveals by the simple syntax made me pause for a couple of minutes.
"“Usually when I’m shaving, I’m thinking about something else,” he said. “I’m so used to multitasking that to do something that you have to commit to, it makes you feel alive.”
